Goodbye to Cartoons, Hello to Rockfeedback TV

The past 11 months I’ve been on a vertical learning curve at Turner Broadcasting, more specifically the kids’ channels (Cartoon Network, Boomerang et al.) It’s been a hell of a ride… and now I’m upping roots for a very cool new job at RockFeedback TV.

My main job there will be to look after the Channel 4 and MTV2 show that we run, and to get our global distribution deals up and running. It’s very exciting stuff – true multi-platform Music-TV.

It does mean that I’ll be scaling back on some fronts. I’ve got some wonderful people involved in IKTOMS now, who have already stepped up to the plate and are helping organise and run the nights. I’ll also be playing fewer Nearly Band gigs, perhaps just one a month for a while.

But this isn’t a trade off. All projects are go, I’m just going to have to be more sensible about them all. And the things I’m set to learn and do at Rockfeedback are going to help in all quarters. Expect IKTOMS TV, and international Nearly Band tours :)

So, wish me luck! Today is my second day in the job – I came in early to blog and clear my head – let the day commence!
